American Savings Bank Hawaii App Reviews

Its a must have app if you are an Asb customer. However there are too many issues with crashing etc.. When trying to do mobile deposits and even when just trying to log in.. The fact that these issues continue to be unfixed can make one think of switching banks, just because of convenience. Ive been a ASB customer since I opened my checking account as a teen, which why I might change if they dont update their app.

I agree with the other reviews that this app consistently has issues. Issues include: app not available during certain times, crashing, and having to attempt check deposits multiple times.

I love how I can deposit checks without ever having to step foot into the bank. The only thing I dislike is when entering an numerical amount, the 10-key keypad should be used instead of the traditional qwerty keypad as to avoid errors caused by fat fingers like mine.

If I could give zero stars I would. Checks are always rejected. Close out all apps, restart phone, take ten billion pics in the correct lighting on a dark background and this POS app feature still rejects my checks. FAILURE ASB AND THE TELLERS HAVE NO SYMPATHY when you explain why you are upset waiting in their long line. Maybe if the app worked we wouldnt have to be there in line

The app is good for giving an overview of your account balances and doing internal transfers. The mobile deposit feature is a let down. It takes 2 to 3 times the amount of time to deposit a check than it would to deposit it with a teller.

Ive read all the reviews before I downloaded the app, and since they were from a while back I downloaded it anyway hoping maybe some peoples would care enough to fix the app for their consumers. I guess not. All of the other problems expressed in other reviews are the same problems that I am experiencing. Get this app if you want. Be weary, until someone cares enough to fix it, youll end up deleting it anyway.

Updates are needed for this app. It also doesnt allow me to look at more than one account which makes it hard if I want to transfer money.

I just spoke with 5 different representatives, been over the phone for 40 mins to fix this app. They changed my password and all at the last representative is telling me that the problem is my phone. This is the 3rd phone that I tried to use this app. First I used Nokia lumia 920, then iphone 5c, then the last one is iphone 6 plus. None of this phone successfully make the app work. The representative is telling me that it is not registering on their end that I downloaded the app so the issue is actually because of my PHONES! That is the most stupid resolution I ever get. Very frustrated!

i have been trying to deposit a check as the app has that feature, but recently it hasnt been telling me that i do not have an account with the bank which is ridiculous, because obviously i do....or i wouldnt download the app. stupid.
